Impact: Short downtime for Minecraft servers hosted on our DL380 Gen9 node. Web dashboard will not be accessible during the maintenance.
Details:
We are performing a hardware upgrade and tuning on one of our backend servers. This includes:
- Replacing CPUs with higher-performance Xeon processors optimised for Minecraft hosting
- Tweaking RAM settings to unlock full memory speed and reduce latency
Why this matters:
- Improved server tick performance (less lag in chunk loading, smoother gameplay under heavy load)
- Better stability during larger player events and modded servers
- Future-proofed infrastructure to support growing demand
What to expect:
- Your server(s) on this node will briefly go offline during the maintenance window
- All data and worlds remain safe, no changes to your files or configurations
- After the upgrade, you should notice improved performance and responsiveness
We’ll update this page once the work is complete. Thank you for your patience as we continue to invest in faster, smoother hosting for everyone.
